At first, a singer/songwriter, then a performer, followed by arts management and now a media composer, Declan has really experienced different parts of the industry. Declan has spent the last 5 years working and traveling between Scotland and the United States as a performing art and musical director for theatre companies and summer camps.​ Declan has worked with local composers in a variety of roles such as studio engineer, producer, orchestrator and conductor. He was also heavily involved with multiple SONY PlayStation X SFCM collaborations. In 2022 Declan secured his first short film and quickly became a go to composer for up-and-coming directors racking up 6 short films and a feature since 2023. His most recent project featured his music on the 2023 NBA Knicks Commercial produced by North 130 productions.
Declan continues to work with local and international directors as a composer as well as assisting composers with MIDI Programming, Audio Editing, Orchestration and much more. ​Declan is a Graduate of the University of the West of Scotland with his Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Music Production and his Master's Degree in Technology and Applied Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of music. 

In 2024 you can hear Declan's 8 different sound logos across the KDFC Classical California airwaves as well as new films on tour around film festivals in both America and Europe. His solo works can be streamed on all streaming services.

He is currently based in Scotland.
